This is Part 1 of a 5 part project I had been working on since the beginning of the school year.



Okay.... so 'roject' isn't really the word for a collection of random sketchings that I collected since the beginnig of the year, but hey: "project" sounds better than "random crap".


In this collection I have:

1.a couple of sketches of this strange, semi gothic lolita "bleeding doll" that randomly came into my mind.

2.test drawings of ribbons and bows

3.Notes from Spainish and Math.

4.a large picture that I used as a model to learn how to improve my shading and portraiting techniques.

5.some random sketches that really have no point to them.

6. a couple of fashion sketchings. (a 'girl' and a 'guy' version of the same outfit.)

7. a few little sketches of random, meaningless signs and stuff (I was working on a artist's signature until I gave up about a few weeks ago.) (One sign was a modified version of this picture of a button in my history book for tuberculosis screening (As odd as that might sound...)

8. A sketch of my orginal character Naran with an early version of her weapon, the Neptune Chain.

9. A little comic sketch of Naran vs. Stickman! First time drawing manga style disblief expressions.

10. an angel and a pair of eyes. both were uncompleted works that I didn't feel turned out how I wanted them to.



This was actually one of the few artworks that anyone outside of my friends, and people on deviantART have actually gotten to see. Strangely, I had someone ask me if those were supposed to be Pokemon characters I was drawing. Don't get me wrong, I love Pokemon, but I find it kinda funny (in sort of a humorous way) that Pokemon seems to be the most recognizable anime outside of the anime fandom community (along with Digimon, Sailor Moon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Dragonball Z. (Partly because of their popularity)).
