This was something that I started in 6th period towards the end of the year. I thought that I could have finished it before school ended for the summer, but as you see, I was a little over-confident. I ended up having to e-mail myself what I had worked on, and finishing the rest over summer.
I wanted to darw something about vampires, and this was the first thing to come to my mind. I tried drawing this out on a large sheet of paper, but that didn't go so well, considering that I didn't have a good drawing surface. Or a ruler. Or a good eraser for that matter. So I figured I'd challenge myself a little and attempt it in MS Paint.
My favorite little detail is the shadow of the wine glass on the balcony. I actually studied the way sunlight passes through glass once and applied what I observed into the shadow drawing.
I think I nearly screamed my lungs out trying to get everything down right, because I'd keep making these really sloppy mistakes and have to restart.
